Your Nervous System Is Your Manifestation Antenna
+ Sound Frequency Transmission
Your Body Holds The Key To Your Dreams
“The body keeps the score, but it also keeps the signal."
Have you ever participated in some of the manifestation techniques that are out there. I definitely have, and wondered why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It goes something like this, meditating on what you want, vision boards, crystals and burning sage! But sometimes the manifestations miss the mark.
As some of you know, I’ve been a long time follower of the work of Dr Joe Dispenza. Many many people experience amazing results with his work, myself included. Since doing his work and other modalities since 2018, I’ve come to realize that the nervous system is an integral part of manifesting or creating a life with more ease and grace.
Your nervous system is your frequency, it is your outward pulse of consciousness.
I would like to explore today and in coming newsletters:
Why nervous system work creates faster manifestation results than mindset work alone
Why some people seem to effortlessly attract what they want (regulated nervous system = clear frequency)
Why traditional manifestation sometimes fails (broadcasting mixed frequencies)
Every time we sit down to manifest and focus on our dreams, our body can be in a secret state of hyper-vigilance—a trauma response linked to a past circumstance related to our present desire.
Your nervous system may be quietly prioritizing safety, while your mind is calling in love or abundance. The result? You manifest experiences that feel thrilling but unstable—or secure but unfulfilling. Rarely both. True manifestation happens when your body and desires align.
Many manifestation teachings miss entirely:
your nervous system is your manifestation antenna, and when it's dysregulated, you're broadcasting static instead of clear signals.
The Hidden Foundation of Manifestation
I believe that manifestation has a mental game—visualizing, affirming, assuming it to be true, and ultimately receiving. This approach does work for many, however for those of us who experienced trauma in the past, this can fall short.
It ignores a basic need necessary to create in alignment : your autonomic nervous system.
Your nervous system isn't just responsible for breathing and heartbeat. It's constantly scanning your environment for safety and threat, processing thousands of pieces of information per second that your conscious mind never even registers. It's reading energy, assessing people, it co-regulates to other people’s nervous systems and is determining what feels aligned or misaligned, safe and unsafe —all beneath the level of your awareness.
When your nervous system is regulated and feels safe, it becomes an exquisitely sensitive instrument for detecting what truly serves your highest good. It can sense when an opportunity is genuinely aligned. It knows the difference between love and trauma bonding, between intuitive guidance and fear-based urgency.
But when your nervous system is dysregulated—stuck in patterns of fight, flight, freeze, or fawn—it distorts your manifestation antenna. Instead of broadcasting your authentic desires, you're unconsciously attracting experiences that match your nervous system's primary programming: survival.
How Dysregulation Creates "Static" in Your Manifestation
Think of your nervous system as a radio tower. When it's functioning optimally, it transmits a clear, strong signal that attracts experiences matching your authentic frequency. But trauma, chronic stress, chronic overthinking and unresolved emotional patterns create interference—like static on a radio station.
The Fight Response creates manifestations driven by competition, scarcity, and the need to prove yourself. You might attract high-pressure opportunities, relationships that feel like battles, or success that comes through struggle rather than flow.
The Flight Response manifests as constantly seeking the next thing—the next job, relationship, or location—without ever finding satisfaction. Your manifestations become about escape rather than true desire.
The Freeze Response creates manifestations that feel stuck or limited. You might attract opportunities that keep you small, relationships that lack vitality, or situations that mirror your inner sense of being trapped.
The Fawn Response draws in people and situations that require you to abandon your needs for others' approval. Your manifestations become about being needed rather than being valued for who you truly are.
None of these are wrong—they're intelligent adaptations your nervous system developed to keep you safe. But they're not aligned with your authentic desires. They're survival strategies masquerading as manifestations.
The Science Behind Nervous System States and Decision-Making
Recent neuroscience research reveals something profound: the state of your nervous system directly influences your capacity for clear thinking, creative problem-solving, and intuitive decision-making.
When your autonomic nervous system is in a regulated state—your prefrontal cortex comes online. This is your brain's executive center, responsible for:
Future planning and visioning
Creative thinking and innovation
Emotional regulation and impulse control
Reading social cues and energy accurately
Accessing intuitive wisdom and "gut feelings"
But when you're in a dysregulated state, your brain's threat-detection system (the amygdala) takes over, hijacking your higher-order thinking. In this state:
Your perception narrows to focus only on immediate threats or needs
Creative thinking shuts down in favour of familiar, "safe" patterns
You lose access to your intuitive guidance system
Decision-making becomes reactive rather than responsive
You're more likely to act from fear, scarcity, or people-pleasing
This is why manifestation practices often fail. You might spend 20 minutes visualizing your dream life, but if you're doing it from a dysregulated nervous system state, you're essentially asking your survival brain to create your future. And survival brain doesn't care about your dreams—it only cares about keeping you alive and safe.
Trust me, I know this all too well.
As a child, I was exposed to violence in the home and unknowingly a nervous system that was all of the above - fight, flight, freeze and fawn.
Most people experience more than one of these responses throughout their life — even within a single situation. For instance, someone might:
Freeze initially when shocked,
Then shift into fawn to appease a threatening person,
Later feel flight energy and want to run away,
And finally have a fight response (especially if they begin to feel safe enough to express anger).
Reclaiming Your Manifestation Antenna
The good news is that your nervous system is remarkably adaptive. Just as it learned to scan for threats and create protective patterns, it can learn to recognize safety and respond to aligned opportunities.
Where do you start:
Identify your dysregulation patterns and how they show up in your manifestation attempts - fight, flight, freeze or fawn.
Create safety in your nervous system so it can relax out of survival mode
Developing somatic discernment to distinguish between authentic desires and trauma-driven wants
Integrate nervous system regulation with a personal practice for clear, aligned results
Maintaining coherence between your nervous system and your desires through life's inevitable changes
Some Approaches To Assist In Regulating Your Nervous System:
Breathwork Techniques
4-7-8 Breathing - Inhale for 4, hold for 7, exhale for 8 (activates parasympathetic)
Box Breathing - Equal counts in/hold/out/hold (creates coherence)
Movement & Somatic Practices
Gentle shaking - Releases trapped activation naturally
Yoga with emphasis on longer exhales - Activates vagus nerve
Walking meditation - Bilateral movement integrates nervous system
Dance/free movement - Helps discharge stored energy
Stretching with breath awareness - Combines physical and nervous system release
Vagus Nerve Stimulation
Cold exposure - Cold water on face, cold showers (builds resilience)
Humming, singing, gargling - Vibration stimulates vagal tone
Gentle neck stretches - Releases tension around vagus nerve pathway
Massage of ears and behind ears - Direct vagus nerve access points
Grounding & Sensory Approaches
Earthing - Direct skin contact with earth/grass
5-4-3-2-1 Presence - 5 things you see, 4 hear, 3 feel, 2 smell, 1 taste
Weighted blankets - Deep pressure calms nervous system
Essential oils (lavender, bergamot) - Directly influence limbic system
Warm baths with Epsom salts - Magnesium absorption + heat relaxation
Touch & Self-Soothing
Self-love - Gentle stroking of arms, face, hands
Butterfly hug - Cross arms over chest, gentle tapping
Heart coherence touch - Hand on heart while breathing slowly
Pressure points - Gentle pressure on temples, third eye, base of skull
Restorative poses - Legs up wall, supported child's pose
Daily Regulation Habits
Morning sunlight exposure - Regulates circadian rhythm
Regular meal times - Stabilizes blood sugar and nervous system
Consistent sleep schedule - Foundation for nervous system health
Mindful eating - Engages rest-and-digest response
Digital boundaries - Reduces overstimulation
This isn't about perfecting your nervous system or eliminating all stress from your life. It's about developing a conscious, collaborative relationship with your body's wisdom so you can manifest from wholeness rather than victimhood.
The Invitation
As you begin this journey, I invite you to consider a radical possibility: What if everything you've been trying to manifest is already within your electromagnetic field, waiting for your nervous system to achieve the coherence necessary to recognize and receive it?
What if the path to your dreams isn't through more effort, more visualization, or more positive thinking, but through becoming a clear, stable frequency that naturally magnetizes what you truly desire?
Your nervous system has been protecting you, but it's also been your broadcasting station all along. Every interaction, every opportunity, every relationship has been responding to the frequency you've been unconsciously transmitting.
When you learn to regulate your nervous system and create coherence between your conscious desires and your electromagnetic field, you don't just manifest differently—you become a different frequency entirely. And when your frequency changes, your entire reality shifts to match.
Your body is not just the vehicle for your dreams—it's the broadcasting station that's been calling them in all along.
