Embracing Fall Energy: Reflection & Renewal

Hello friends,

As the last week of August is here and we step into the final quarter of the year, the next season invites us into seeing things with fresh eyes and reflecting on the beauty of the last 8 months. A change of seasons, a change of clothes and a change in perspective.

The other morning, I caught myself judging parts of my life for not being exactly where I wanted them to be. The sneaky ego — the small self — slipped in without warning. Thankfully, through my practices of self-awareness and I Am Presence, I noticed it quickly.

When I returned to the present moment,

I remembered to release identifying with my thoughts,

I observed the beautiful breakfast I was making,

and I was reminded of how far I have come.

I am still, I am presence.

Everything is appearing and disappearing

I am in flow.

Infinite awareness began showing me little glimpses of my progress — all the ways I’ve been taking steps, perhaps small on their own, but collectively greater than anything I’ve ever done before toward my goals.

It was such a humbling reminder: we don’t always see our growth in the moment, but when we pause, breathe, and reflect, the evidence of transformation is everywhere.

Journal Prompts

This season is a powerful opportunity to pause and ask yourself:

How much have I changed since January? or since last year this same time? List out all the new behaviours, experiences and actions taken.
Looking at this list, can I take stock in all that has shifted and feel grateful for my actions. “I am so grateful for all that I have shifted.” Stay in the moment of gratitude.

With this reflection & new perspective, where am I being inspired to focus my energy now?
In what ways has my internal connection grown? Where am I opening to more ease, and effortlessness?
Where in my life am I being called to create more I Am Presence?
What self-care practices can I strengthen or begin with this shift of seasons?
How can I slow down and savour the richness of this present moment more fully?

These questions are invitations — not to add pressure or “do more,” but to guide you back to yourself. Fall reminds us that change is natural, and release is part of the cycle of renewal.

As you journal or reflect, notice what arises in your heart. Let this be a season of honouring how far you’ve come, while gently aligning with where your soul is guiding you next.
